Laura is Associate Artist for Mansions of the Future, an Arts Council funded public arts venue in Lincoln.

 

She is a co-founder of 'Making Up Your Street' a mobile project that encourages and teaches making skills within communities and unexpected locations. It has recently worked in a shipping container, ice cream van, on a skate park and shopping centre,  as well as gallery spaces.

 

 

Laura graduated with a first class BA (hons) in Contemporary Crafts in 2007 from the University of Lincoln and returned in 2018 to study for her Masters.

 

She has exhibited throughout the UK and has also curated numerous craft and design exhibitions and creative projects. She spent 8 years with the exhibitions team at the National Centre for Craft & Design and has since developed her own freelance practice as designer/maker/curator/producer.
